Plans arrived :)

Yess! The plans finally arrived! :)

Now I have to figure out how to get all the station mold plans on plywood to get started with building the one. And it's not so easy! At least when it the first time to build something like this.

If there is something to take picrures of I'll try to add some pictures of the process here.

Waiting for the plans

Plans were posted yesterday so hopfully they are here in couple of days. After some clarification with Björn it turned out that my BP beam width will be hips + 5 fingers (probably something like 7 cm). Waiting is hard :) I hope to get my hans on the plans asap.

The Project

The whole idea of this project is to custom build a Björn Thomasson designed Black Pearl kayak. BP is a playful kayak based on east greenland kayak designs, but is further developed by Björn Thomasson. Each kayak will be customized for the owner/builder. As I feel no need to rewrite the long description of the kayak then please read the BP's full story on Björn's website.



Now all I have to too is wait while the plans arrive...
